As you can see, this is another book which places a great emphasis on the Word of God. Now the second verse begins the message of warning which God has given Zechariah. Speaking by the same authority that Haggai did, the Word of the Lord, he is warning the returned remnant not to follow in the footsteps of their pre–Captivity fathers.
